Our story and dream
We honeymooned in Napa Valley in 1991 and dreamed of living on a vineyard and hosting guests in a B&B since. This is our time, in 2019 we purchased a 2- acre vineyard in Palisade, Colorado.
We look forward to hosting you in one of our comfortable units; 1 lock-out unit with private entrance and 2 tiny homes. They all include private spaces, patios, fire pits and amazing views of Palisade. Within walking distance to wineries and downtown Palisade. This is more than just a place to lay your head after wine tasting, mountain biking, hiking, skiing on the Grand Mesa or enjoying Colorado river activities. Our goal is to share the experience of Palisade with you through all the seasons Colorado has to offer.
We offer a place to relax, enjoy Colorado’s colorful sunrise and sunsets, walk among the vineyard and peach orchards and hopefully a place to connect to local neighbors. If you want to add a bit more structure to your stay, we offer wine tasting education and special meals available for purchase. Ask for details when making your reservation.
About our name: We purchased this beautiful vineyard from fellow Parrot Heads and they sold their grapes under the name ‘beach house’. Seemed fitting to keep with the theme (we think Jimmy Buffett would be proud). Palisade Beach House Vineyard and B&B it is!
We both work full-time and the breakfast part of BnB will have to wait. Our retirement plan includes a full breakfast on weekends and we look forward to that. In the meantime, we do include local, fresh roasted coffee from Palisade Coffee and include a nice local, bottle of wine from our winery partners.
